A recreation of the sights and sounds of St. Francisville in 1864 during the American Civil War. Each day will feature a small reenactment of the October 1864 Battle at Alexander’s Creek which happened near the park featuring the 23rd Wisconsin Infantry actions to hold back the Confederate 1st Louisiana Cavalry.
