Step back in time to the Black Prairie during the War for the Southern Independence. Relive the crisis and heroism during the battles on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. February 20 is School Days starting at 9 a.m. Okolona is located 5 miles west on Highway 41. All reenactors welcome-North, South, Military, Civilian, Sutlers. Also visit Historic Confederate Cemetery on 300 South Church Street where over 800 Confederate soldiers are buried.
