This event is sponsored by the Jacob Summerlin Campo #1516, SCV. Education Day will be held on Friday the 27th. Tours begin at 9:30 a.m. School groups must pre-register (see website.) School groups and presenters are encouraged to make contact by emailing. The Park opens to spectators, Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Ladies Tea at 10 a.m. Saturday. Period music prior to battles and at Barn Dance. Battles both Saturday and Sunday begin at 2 p.m. There will be ample grandstand viewing of the battle. Authentic camps will be open to the public after 10 a.m., then closed one hour prior to the battles until just after the battles. Water and firewood will be provided for authentic camps. Saturday artillery night fire at dusk. Saturday evening barn dance at 8 p.m. Spectator admission: $7 Adults, $5 Children 5-12, Children under 5 free. Registration fee for all reenactors is $7. Reenactor registration form and Rules & Registrations available on website. Powder Bounty: First 6 full scale howitzers/field pieces which actively participate in both battle, $125 payable after Sunday’s battle.
