In conjunction with the Wakarusa, IN syrup festival the Michiana Civil War re-enactors will host a Civil War Re-enactment at the Wakarusa Historical Society Museum at 403 E Wabash Ave., Wakarusa, Indiana (Note: Downtown is closed to traffic that weekend) Events include School tours on Friday (need people to setup on Thursday for Friday tours). Skirmish on both Saturday and Sunday, ladies tea, drill demonstrations, parade (downtown) with lots of other stuff going on downtown (see links) living history in and around a number of original buildings from the 1800’s on Museum site. Looking for US/CS all branches, no mounted Cavalry (no room). All proceeds from the event will go to the Wakarusa Historical Society Museum.
